The book explores what it’s really like to be a CEO, key trends shaping the business world, shares CEO best practice, and the world war for talent.The Secrets of CEOs reveals frank insights of the lives of some of the West’s most influential CEOs, such as Tesco’s Sir Terry Leahy, Sir Martin Sorrell of WPP Group, former BP chief executive Lord Browne, Mick Davis of Xstrata and Ben Verwaayen, formerly of BT.
Steve is an expert in Chinese business and is a trusted confidant to many of Western MNCs, as well as being an honoured and trusted friend to many of China’s domestic entrepreneurs.
Through this, Steve became the first westerner to have gained interview access to Chinese CEOs and was able to write The Secrets of Chinese CEOs, offering a rare glimpse into the business worlds and personal lives of some of the most influential leaders in China. Bringing to life their motivations, the book offers an understanding of how Chinese leaders tick, and how to best work with them. It includes stories of rising from the bottom to the top and what it takes in the 21st century to be a successful leader on the global stage.
